June 2021 - Snow Geese - Dancing Over the Valley

About the Image(s)

Every year from November to early spring, tens of thousands of snow geese migrate south from Arctic nesting grounds- Wrangel Island in Russia to Skagit Valley of the United States. The 3100-mile-long journey takes about one week for the birds. In this season, huge flocks of snow geese swirl down from the sky with elegant posture like dancers. Those beautiful birds bring such a splendid view and joy to all.”

Peter,

Your video starting with the Snow Geese tutorial that disappears like a flock of Geese taking off and then at :33 going to Google Earth to show the route the Geese take to arrive in Washington State is amazing.

At 2:16 you show us a slow motion time laps of the Geese in flight. At 2:21 there thousands of Snow Geese in flight. At 3:06 starts the dance of the Snow Geese. It's hard to imagine how you were able to capture these amazing videos.

Your video was so beautiful with the thousands of majestic birds and then ending with a field of beautiful daffodils.

Really Well Done !!

Dick
