About the Image(s)
The photo was taken a couple years ago. It was relatively early in the morning and there were barely any people around, especially on a foggy day. But I was not the first one there that morning.

The first thing I love about this composition is the less than super-heavy contrast we often see in images like this .... see some of Bob Kolbrener's (b.1942) landscapes for a similar, more natural visual experience ... like your presentation this month.
The work captures that sometimes special moment we encounter in nature, regardless if along the sea or hiking through early morning fog in the mountains.
Well done!!   Posted: 05/04/2023 11:08:03

Lance, thanks for your comments. Looked at some of the photos of Bob Kolbrener, definitely inspiring. I was not expecting a 20 degree drop in temperature and fog from where I started driving. I like when I am surprised by Nature.   Posted: 05/07/2023 13:31:54
Hi Debasish. When I first saw this image, before reading your comment, I thought I was looking at a beach bathed in moonlight. Regardless, I love the mood created by the fog. And I can stop worrying about the person who left the footprints behind.   Posted: 05/07/2023 06:29:19
Margaret, thanks for your comments. I was bit worried about the person who went in the direction where fog was heavier.   Posted: 05/07/2023 13:36:00
This is a good picture. Its balanced, contoured and toned correctly. I like the high contrast. Frame it.

Hi Debasish,
What strikes me most about your image is the wonderful play of light and shadow, all fading into the distant fog. The strong, dark silhouettes on the right are balanced by the illuminated waves on the left. The middle of the image forms an inviting (but maybe a bit mysterious) pathway that dares me to follow the footsteps into the foggy unknown. What will I find there? My imagination runs wild. Nicely done.   Posted: 05/27/2023 18:11:18

Hi Michael, I appreciate your comment on the photo. I agree with you, the photo gave me the feeling that the distant appears to be too unknown to follow those footsteps!   Posted: 05/29/2023 15:41:52
