Again, welcome to the group, Titi!

1/6 sec, Tripod, indeed! A very pleasant and relaxing scene that even provokes an imaginary sound of the cascading water over the rocks. The rich grey-scale tones work well with the surrounding stone, foliage and water.

"Points to Ponder": In my opinion, the human element within the frame promotes a documentary (or commercial) narrative, while also being very much a Fine Art image. As such, did you try to move your position (or lens choice) that could have eliminated the hand-rails from the frame? Lastly, of course, a completely different Crop can be used, but then the narrative will be drastically altered as well.

Hi Lance
Thank you for your comments.
There is small path on the right side, in front of this waterfall. I have to go down the river and standing in the middle of it to take this photo.
I can change my position a little bit to the left, but it is impossible to change the lens. You are right it will be a better picture if I don't take the hand rails into the frame.

Welcome Titi! A beautiful water fall. The water is nicely highlighted. I'm wondering if all the surrounding environment is necessary to the image of the waterfall. The hand rails on the left are distracting for me because my first thought if that the rest of the railing was cloned out. Otherwise a lovely capture of the waterfall.   Posted: 07/12/2021 22:43:04

Hi Titi, Welcome to the group. Very nice capture of the flow of the water with long exposure. I would try lightening up the surroundings a bit and cloning out the hand rail.   Posted: 07/17/2021 12:00:53

Thank you Debasish for your comment, clone out is the solution for the hand rail before I have the chance to go there again.   Posted: 07/19/2021 15:14:22
