About the Image(s)

This was taken with my Canon 5d Mark 4 at F6.3 at 1/60sec. I tied it to some fishing line in front of a black posterboard, and put it in front of a window in the late afternoon. It was difficult to try and get a nice lighting effect from the window even though it was on a tripod.

I took a number of shots focused on multiple areas of the tulip, and combined them in Lightroom, but was not all that happy with them. Overall, I like how this turned out, but am looking forward to your suggestions.

Beautiful, if this is without using a flash this is truly awesome. as for such photography people go with flash, as it brings out all the details ( as you can go with smaller aperture), very well done and processed, all the details of the entire flower till the roots are very sharp and focused. Professional stuff. Too good.   Posted: 05/01/2023 21:11:20

Really powerful. The addition of the bulb/roots makes this different than the "usual"
picture of a tulip. Nice.

It is a wonderful image. Totally agree with the comments on including the entire plant.

The lighting is excellent and the colours perfectly saturated.   Posted: 05/09/2023 18:52:32
