I went to Tuscon AZ area ( Santa Rita Lodge) for a fun Hummingbird Workshop this past month. A white board on an easel was used as a backdrop to take this photo of a Broad-billed Hummingbird. Feeders were hung above to attract the birds. Photoshop used to get rid of the extra white spots in eyes plus some other basic editing.
Sony A7III with Sigma 100-400 lens ISO400 F29 1/160/ sec plus tripod with remote. Lighting was setup by the instructors.

Very professional looking image. It is exquisite. I do wonder if it Wow factor might come up if the bird were, say, 20% larger? Posted: 06/12/2022 18:41:47
