This beautiful Yellow Warbler sitting in the forsynthia bush at my PA yard this past week.
Sony Rx10iv F4 ISO 100 220m 1/1600
I used Lightroom to crop/ adjust contrast/brightness.

What a sweet image. The background is nicely blurred, it's perfectly composed, and how lucky to have the blossoms and feathers color coordinated! It may enhance the image if the bird could be sharpened a little and perhaps eliminate the bare little branch at the bottom.   Posted: 05/07/2022 10:21:03

Great shot! Love the colours of the bird and there is lovely detail in the wings. For me, a forsythia is a sure sign of spring. I think the blooms are slightly blown out, which might be a bit of a distraction. I wonder if a smaller aperture (maybe f/14??) and a higher ISO would have given a larger depth of field.   Posted: 05/08/2022 10:03:01

Nice composition. The bird seems a bit soft. As I look at the image the zone of focus (depth of field) seems best in front of the bird...the wing is good, but not the head or body. And I agree with Keith, some burning in of the forsythia flowers would surround the bird with a darker/less distracting lightness.   Posted: 05/08/2022 12:36:07
