About the Image(s)

I believe I’ve shared a summer version of this scene. I went back late in the fall season to see how it looks. It has a very different feel to it; the lushness of the full green foliage is gone but it was still a place where I felt I could sit aspell and rest and enjoy the birds and squirrels. I was pleased to still feel the tranquilness of the place.

Keith, this is a truly nice scene which does indeed exude tranquility.

I really like the composition, and the exposure, contrast, and saturation are really good in this shot. Also, I like the slight reflections of the chairs in the water.

Very peaceful and calming image!   Posted: 01/01/2022 13:31:32

Keith, like Gregory, this is a lovely, peaceful image. At this time so many of us need such tranquility and this says that. I find the bright spot on the chair a bit visually intense, grabbing my eye first instead of following the lovely lead line that you have. Might burn this down a bit. The colors and the pond texture are lovely. Nicely done.   Posted: 01/02/2022 12:54:28

I love shots that express tranquility, and this does so very well. If you have now shot two seasons of this scene, will you also shoot the next two seasons so you have a full set of four seasons?   Posted: 01/05/2022 23:40:40

I will go back for an early spring shot, but I won't be able to grab a winter shot.   Posted: 01/08/2022 19:42:31

Keith, I certainly agree with the others about this shot - it's very calming and beautifully composed. I would love to sit there for a lovely afternoon. The colors are beautiful as well but I feel that the greens in front of the chairs seem a little too saturated. Perhaps they could be toned down. A wonderful image.   Posted: 01/15/2022 21:02:05

Keith, what is the beautiful story telling image! I feel a little bit loneliness looking at this empty chairs.. reflection on latest sad pandemic events, and the life passed by...so quickly...and leaveless trees add to the story a lot...just wondering if you would crop the top a litle bit, it seems has too much information... i think it will bring attention to the subject itself more...   Posted: 01/16/2022 13:41:05
