About the Image(s)
While walking around a small town in Michigan, we came upon this gentleman sitting on his porch. I was enamored with him and the condition of the porch, and he agreed to let me take a photo. It was taken at ISO 320, 67mm, F9, and 1/200 sec. I lightened his face a little as the hat had him quite shadowed, and cropped the image to focus on him more. I could kick myself for neglecting to include his feet, but I still like it. All suggestions welcome!

You did a great job on the man's face - I can't tell you did anything which is as it should be. I didn't even notice the missing feet till I read your description.
Great portrait shot.   Posted: 10/02/2024 14:53:01

Laurie, you got both hands and for this image, the feet don't matter; he is sitting. You did an excellent job exposing his face, even if you had to "dodge" a bit.   Posted: 10/02/2024 15:51:58

I agree that his feet don't distract from your photo. In fact, they may have obscured the main focus of his attractive older face with the matching older details around him. I love how the yellow porch makes his blue clothing pop out more. Your composition is excellent.   Posted: 10/07/2024 17:07:35
