About the Image(s)
Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the original of this photo so I will try to recreate it verbally. This photo of the Milky Way was taken mid-August at a "dark sky" location near my home. It was shot with a Sony A7iii with lens at 18mm, 20 seconds at f2.8 and ISO 1600. A member of the group I was with placed a small flashlight in the shack to the left to give the image a foreground. Another individual was in the foreground pointing two flashlights skyward. I removed that person to make the lights appear to be coming from a distance. I used dehaze and lowered the shadows to get the black foliage. The fluorescent glare above the trees is from across Lake Ontario (Cleveland).

Good idea to light the inside of the shed on the left to give the foreground a bit of interest. Having the two torchlights going up as if to join the milky way was a good idea. I think it would have been a good shot even without them.
Only slight niggle is that it looks as if the shed is going to topple over at any moment!! Perhaps it was!!!   Posted: 09/01/2023 10:39:51
I agree with Angela - that the shed looks like it was toppling over. Perhaps straightening it in Photoshop or Nik Perspective would improve the image.   Posted: 09/01/2023 13:04:36
