About the Image(s)
Taken this past week in a Missouri Trout Stream. Used my Fujifilm 100s and the 110mm lens, iso 320, 1/160th of a second at f6.4.
I was not satisfied with the sharpness so I took it to Topaz Sharpen after I cropped it.

I would say that was very well spotted!! Amazing how much detail you have managed to get from the original.
The snake is definitely testing the air/water and I like the way the ripples frames it's head. Lovely and sharp and natural tones. Well positioned in the frame.
The reflection bothers me a little (or is it a stone?) I think it takes some of the attention away from the snake. Perhaps it could be toned down a little?
Otherwise a great shot, well done.

Thanks Angela. Yes, a reflection. Good idea to tone it down.   Posted: 05/01/2022 18:13:27
Wow, Randall, this is amazing! I am blown away at the detail you got from the original! Even the water has amazing detail! To catch the snake with his tongue out makes this outstanding! I love everything about this!   Posted: 05/01/2022 20:17:30
