Not too sure about it being dreams!! Seems more like a nightmare to me!!!
Well spotted and a good composition with the couple just about on the thirds. The crop has made the image a lot more interesting and the colours are very vibrant. I was going to suggest using levels to lighten the shadows on the couple but then think they might start to compete with the background so best left?
Well done.   Posted: 11/02/2021 08:21:33

Angela, I did lighten them up, but not more, and as you pointed out, but yes, I wanted to keep them as observers of the subject that I wanted highlighted, being the "painting." It was a great experience to see this show.   Posted: 11/02/2021 10:55:08

The colours are very vibrant, doing respect to the VG's painting. Nice set up by the curator of the exhibition. Very nice composition in the crop. Well seen.   Posted: 11/02/2021 10:51:24

Very interesting shot, Randall! I love this Van Gogh painting and this exhibit looks phenomenal! The colors are so vibrant and the couple on the bench make it surreal! Well done!   Posted: 11/04/2021 16:13:37

I'm enjoying this image very much. I'm a big fan of Van Gogh. I think the image tells a great story of a couple enjoying the exhibit. Great job catching that moment in time.   Posted: 11/04/2021 20:11:03

Good job catching just a single couple at the exhibit. When we went in Washington DC, it was very crowded, but still fantastic the way the show helped the visitors get into the mind and experience of Van Gogh.   Posted: 11/23/2021 14:32:57

Thanks Stephen. I had a great time. I really got a deep appreciation for Van Gogh. Funny you commented just now, as last night I processed 20+ more pictures, and I am still in awe just looking at them.   Posted: 11/23/2021 14:43:01
