About the Image(s)

Was on a fishing trip in April, and here is a shot I took at iso 100, 1/1600th of a second, f2, at 110mm. I like the way I got the picture to pop post-processing, and look to get feedback.

Great shot of the fisherman and you have done well to actually get all the line to show up in the image as they are quite fine. Post processing has been done well and as you say it has made the image pop. The main subject it lovely and sharp and green in the background looking quite natural.
For me I wonder whether you may have cropped in a tad too much? I think I would like to see a bit more room in front of the line to give it more space to move into? I expect you were trying to avoid that log in bottom right corner but it could easily be cloned out. Well done and I hope you put the fish back unharmed!!!   Posted: 06/08/2021 07:10:56

As always Angela, thank you for your input. Thank you for the cropping suggestion, as that is something I was wondering.   Posted: 06/08/2021 09:06:02

Great job in post. You have brought light to the fisherman and made him pop. The cast of his line brings the eye back around to the fisherman. I really like the tones of this image.   Posted: 06/09/2021 06:05:47

Great shot of this fisherman and great job capturing the line as it s over his head! I could see this in a fishing magazine!   Posted: 06/20/2021 13:57:07

Superb. Love it. The swirl of the his line is so crisp and the way it turns back to him makes my eye travel with it. Lovely mood too   Posted: 06/20/2021 22:33:05
