A well captured seascape and a very good choice to make it monochrome as is helps create a great atmosphere.
Well timed and you have got the wave crashing on to the side of the building. I like the little cloud that seems to be curving over the top of the building looking almost like smoke from a chimney.
Only slight niggle is whether you could have removed the contrail from top of image but that is being picky.
Great image, well done.   Posted: 06/03/2021 05:23:57

Great capture of this Fort with the waves crashing on it. The Fort is still battling the elements. I think B&W makes this a more dramatic and powerful image. I would agree with removing the contrail. Still a very strong picture. Well done!   Posted: 06/03/2021 10:52:41

I like this very much. Monochrome is awesome. Beautiful pic. I like how the castle feels like a puzzle piece. Very nice.   Posted: 06/07/2021 21:09:56

Noël, choice of black and white definitely works here. And the water looks great. I would crop up from the bottom and a fair amount from the right, as it seems left and top heavy. I would take it just above the bottom wave, and just to the left of the wave on the right. I would clone out the contrail too, as it distracts me. Could be my screen but I would check levels and see if more blacks and whites could be brought out, looking at the histogram.   Posted: 06/08/2021 12:56:10

Very lovely seascape image with well positioned fort and the water splashing in the 2/3rds. Lovely tones and civics of bnw was good indeed.   Posted: 06/20/2021 22:30:10
