About the Image(s)
This was part of a flower arrangement that my wife received on our anniversary. It was so lovely I decided to shoot it in my studio using the continual compensation method of taking 5 shots each at a full stop under and over exposed then stacking them in a HDR tool that resides in Affinity Photo. From there color and exposure adjustments were made in Luminar Neo. Shot with a Sony A7R3 and a Tokina Macro lens.

Quite nice! To me, it looks like the flowers are dancing. I like the dark background you've given it. Good job!   Posted: 10/10/2024 03:38:50

Great job picking out the group of 3 blooms. Nice colors and composition. I think I would try to knock down the highlites as it appears to me that the blooms and the stalks (light green things) could be darkened to give them a betterapearance. Well Done. Preserving Anniversary flowers is a winner.   Posted: 10/10/2024 19:19:09

Just lovely, the composition is great, I like how the three flowers are separated by a leaf giving them both colour and visual balance. I also like the bottom left leaf reaching upwards as well. Great job.   Posted: 10/20/2024 10:26:45

This is a beautiful composition and I love the way the blooms are positioned. My only suggestion would be to darken the greens of the stems just a little. I don't think I've ever seen a close up of a lavender stem before, so thanks for sharing this!   Posted: 10/20/2024 20:43:08

Nice capture of lavender. I had no idea that's what it looked like. I used to like black backgrounds for everything. In this case, I think it looks stark -- too much contrast. Yes, tone down the greens.   Posted: 10/24/2024 16:51:25
