Rich James

I’m retired at this point but just as active as when I was working as the director of Community Services for the City of Palo Alto in California. Presently I’m a commissioner on the San Jose Arts Commission, play lots of golf and snooker, and babysit three incredible grandkids. I’m also married to a very forgiving and lovely wife (for 43 years!). My photographic adventure began as a teen when my grandmother bought me a Mamiya Sekor dslr and with its help I became my high school photographer. I’m currently president of my local camera club and, as such, enter numerous competitions at the local and state level, especially with my macro and flower work. I love to learn and photography is a never-ending classroom.
