About the Image(s)

Fuji XT3, 1/125, F6.3 ISO 800
The image was a reflection (in a pond) of a neighborhood house around sunset. I liked the patterns in the water and wanted to brighten them up in Lightroom.
I cropped, used Camera Artistic Profile 01, made the image lighter, and increased the saturation, texture, and contrast.

Hi Freddie, Interesting image, especially when you said it was a reflection. Loved the colors and texture   Posted: 10/10/2024 16:57:40

Wonderful abstract. I like the original too. They tell different stories. I crisped the original to tell the story of the Guardians of the Underwater Cave.   Posted: 10/20/2024 19:36:58

Hi Freddie, Both interpretations work for me. Obviously, one is much more peaceful than the other. The difference is between colors of the natural landscape and forest fires (California?). Photographically, it's a thoughtful capture that might benefit from a singular subject like a floating leaf. Karl   Posted: 10/20/2024 22:32:05

Hi Freddie. Judith and Karl said it all. Though I like both, the original is the one I gravitate to on screen but the intensely colorful one is what I think would look great on a wall in a boardroom.   Posted: 10/23/2024 23:28:24

Thanks! I really enjoyed playing with the colors, even if the final result was a bit brazen!   Posted: 10/24/2024 06:21:25

I like both the original, as crisped by Judith, and your final version. I could find a place for each in an office. The original in my office, and the final behind me in a conference room for the same reason I used to wear dominant ties when negotiating.   Posted: 10/29/2024 16:45:18
