Congratulations on another very strong image from Tanzania Sanford. I enjoy everything about your final image, from capture, through processing and to presentation. It speaks typical Africa to me, hot, dry, natural wilderness and wildlife. Some people may comment on the amount of empty sky and maybe the foreground, but I think you have presented it perfectly. We can see the barrenness of this landscape and feel its vastness. Very well done indeed.   Posted: 05/08/2023 03:40:41
I think this is my favourite of your Tanzania picture so far. I like all the antlers poking up into the sky and the feeling of sunset after a hot day. I think we do want all the sky because it places the horizon on the third, and it is more interesting in your final image than the original capture. The foreground was very dark in the original and you have lightened it a little. I would suggest pushing it a bit more, just so that we see some detail in that area. But overall it definitely says Africa to me.   Posted: 05/08/2023 11:16:29
A great image of the sunset on the Serengeti. Lightning up the lower third of the image is good and you set a nice mood emphasizing the color of the sky. Getting rid of the noise from the original image with Photo Ai really gave clarity to your image. Nicely done, Sanford.   Posted: 05/08/2023 17:35:44
Beautiful photograph Sanford. You did a great job in post processing to bring the phot to life to get those great colors and overall mood.   Posted: 05/20/2023 15:44:32
I really like the tones in this image, the animals don't take over but are present and you get a sense of the mood at that moment.
The animals are sufficiently detached from each other. I find this picture soothing and pleasant to look at.   Posted: 05/21/2023 04:49:48

I love the way you "juiced" the sky colors! I think you were going for a silhouette-type image so I disagree with Gordon about lightening up the bottom foreground more especially since a dark foreground contrasts nicely with the sky (dark/light). I would however sharpen up the bush branches at left. Very well done!   Posted: 05/27/2023 10:09:10
