About the Image(s)

Neomerica image shot in my backyard. I added an out of focus image of a Neomerica to create a composite so the colors of each image would harmonize with each other in the final image.

Very pretty image. Good choice of flower and pleasing placement in the photo. The subtle purple in the backgound adds a lot of creativity to the photo.   Posted: 09/14/2021 20:47:50

Nice use of "3" for the image and the different shades of purple to frame the flowers is an excellent choice. Good balance and the flowers all appear in focus. My only suggestion for improvement would be to cutoff some of the lower portion of the image ... maybe a 4x5 crop?   Posted: 09/18/2021 09:34:07

I'm thrilled that two of our lady members enjoy presenting us with floral images that are so different from each other. The delicacy of this one Henriette is wonderful. Your construction of the elements, use of tones, finished by your processing and presentation are first rate. A wonderful image Henriette, congratulations.   Posted: 09/19/2021 02:59:18

The treatment, the composition, everything is harmonious.
I thank you for putting a stem. I see too many photos where the flowers seem to levitate above a clear mist. We have two feet that anchor us to the ground as the flower has its stem.
The background is particularly good.
The graphics of the flowers are well highlighted.

This is a wonderful image Henrietta. Very striking, yet elegant. The background works very well and the composition and cropping is well done. I love it.
