About the Image(s)

Two months ago I submitted an image taken at a bonfire with friends. That image was taken with a shutter speed of 1/8000. This image was taken that same night but with a shutter speed of 1/13 of a second. Hopefully this shows the warmth and softness of a fire. And no, just for the records, I'm NOT a firebug.

This image shows us more the flow and softness of the flames with mostly red edging against black and some red in between the yellow flames. The dark background adds a nice contrast to the bright colors. I like the fact that you tried different shutter speeds to get different effects with the bonfire series.   Posted: 09/09/2021 17:49:58

I like the close-up of the flames with great color. Very creative with the slower sutter speed. I can almost hear the flames crackling.   Posted: 09/14/2021 19:52:37
