About the Image(s)

So often tree trunks and limbs are forgotten on woodland floors, overlooked in favor of broader vistas. But the forest floor has a treasure of textures and patterns and colors especially in the process of decay. Trees reveal their intricate beauty of complex combinations of construction as well as the delicate structure of other plant and fungus growth the wood gives nourishment to. Tech specs: ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/160 sec., -2 exposure bias, manual focus, 95mm focal length. Standard PS and LR processing, then put into TopazStudio for texture enhancement and sharpening.

I like the different types, sizes, tones and direction of the textured bark in this image. Good detail in this image and the direction of the small gray twigs at the bottom is an added plus to this image....well exposed.   Posted: 05/04/2021 15:01:41
