About the Image(s)

A bend in the Luangwa River, Zambia, at dusk, trying to capture the soft colors of a peaceful scene. There are 3 men in the scene (just below the elephant) but they weren't the subject, just for interest.

Shot with a Fuji XT-3, and 100-400 lens, handheld, 150 mm (35mm equiv) F4.4, 1/500, ISO 320.

I increased exposure and contrast and boosted colors a bit, cropped.

I would see a shot of the same subject with 400 mm. I think making the elephant a bit larger, would make it more visible in the picture.
It must be a great adventure to see such a scene in real life! :)   Posted: 01/26/2022 09:31:32

I agree, if I had shot the elephant bigger, it would have made a better subject. I was thinking the landscape/river was the subject, but the elephant is competing for attention.   Posted: 01/26/2022 11:59:12
