About the Image(s)

A tea plantation, recently taken in Ugandan highlands. The combination of steep slopes, massive green and ordered fields in the perpetual misty hilltops, begged to be photographed.

Handheld, with a Sony RX100-V (1" sensor). The usual post activities to try and capture the intensity of green: crop (to remove the tree line on left), adjust exp, boost black levels, boost saturation and sharpen.

Thanks for the comments. The sky is always a problem for me. I saturated some blue in post (compare to the original) but I can't decide whether the original gray clouds work better or the blue. It was rainy season, the sky always looked threatening...   Posted: 11/25/2021 13:37:46
