About the Image(s)
I captured this image during a recent visit to the Winterthur Museum in Wilmington, DE. It was an overcast day in a shaded area and my goal was to capture the various textures of the plants, stones and water.
It was taken with my handheld, Nikon D750 and Nikkor 24-120 lens at 58mm, ISO 1000, f5.6, 1/100 and post processed in Lightroom with the following edits: slight crop; highlights -47; clarity +6; dehaze +10; vibrance +6; saturation +4; post-crop vignet -25.

Thanks for your feedback. When I shot the image I was at an angle to the front edge of the pool which created the wedge shape at the bottom of the image. That was the area I liked least of this photo. I have tried several different things, cropping tighter, aligning image to the front of the pool, burning in on the front edge, and this edited image which is only slightly different from my final. Thoughts? Better, worse or no difference?   Posted: 10/17/2021 09:51:47

Walter, you continue to present images of places I would love to sit in the scene and enjoy beauty around me. Lots of texture and the colour of nature. The pool edge leads the eye into the centre of the image. I like the tighter crop in your edited version. Colour pallet is pleasing

I wonder if by going into Lightroom and working with the horizontal and vertical tilt lines would work .It might stretch your image slightly   Posted: 10/17/2021 09:57:07
Soothing colors and ambience. The only slight visual disturbance (to me) is the half flower pot, lower right.   Posted: 10/26/2021 03:16:42
