About the Image(s)
The original was a throw-away image with a very bad ski. But there was something I liked about the pose. Of course - I cut out the old sky which took hours. But the replacement was much better. I worked on this baby a LOT. But so far, it has only received 1 acceptance. I still like it - HELP !!!!

The work you have done is unreal! The fact that you replaced/flipped the person on the platform alone is impressive. It may be worth bringing out the blacks and whites a little until more to get more impact and I don't know about the scaffolding cutting across him/her as it draws my eye away from the figure. Those are very much only my thoughts though and I struggle to get acceptances with my images so am by no means an expert. Posted: 05/02/2023 15:30:37
Trevor - thanks for the comment. I had to flip him so he was looking at the storm. That scaffold 'X' across his body bothers me too. I don't think I can remove it because there would be no support for the frame. Maybe I should darken it to make it more a part of the structure and not of him. I will let you know. A very good image of a person at work. The scaffolding, towers, and ropes (hoses) provide context to the overall image. Perhaps a slight lighting of the workman might make him stand out a bit more. The image is well done. Posted: 05/08/2023 10:18:13
