About the Image(s)
Between 4 and 6 weeks ago we had a few days rain at the end of our winter. One Monday on my way to work we had some good fog in the early morning. So on the Tuesday, I left 15 minutes early, with my camera and took a backroad on the way to work. A good way to start the day some good images were taken. Details are: Nikon D810; 28 - 120 lens @48mm; ISO 100; F11; 1/60 and hand held. Minor processing in LR; PS and NIK.

I'm very much a lover of misty scenes, and this one does not disappoint. The trees make this image, and when you get above them you can see that a blue sky will eventually emerge. I wonder if you could have made a bigger panorama to include more of the trees on each end....but it may be that you just end up with other trees that get truncated and gain nothing but a longer image. Just food for thought. I like the image a lot and give you extra credit for attempting it on your way to work,   Posted: 11/22/2023 14:23:54
Ian - love the fog and almost any fog shots - adds mystery and intrigue and provides great opportunities.
Part of me would have liked to see more of the tops of the trees and possibly a bit of blue sky - just a thought - and I like that you minimized the foreground. Very nice   Posted: 11/24/2023 12:40:16
