About the Image(s)
This was taken at one of our local Ledges State Park a couple of hours from home. The clouds were beautiful. Tried to incorporate the trees and unique stair case to the left. Its not quite as sharp as I would like. Thats what I get for shooting on a windy day. The last several months all we have is wind.
This was taken with D7000 Nikon, Fs7.1, 1/125 sec, ISO 100. Post op - contrast

I really like the composition on this one. Those stairs are well placed in the image and invite me into image and the "road" above leads me to that beautiful old (I think) building. Nicely done! I have one very small suggestion, there is a blue sign that catches my eye and stops the motion into the building. It would be very easy to do spot removal there or darken the color so as not to stop my eye and try and investigate exactly what is there.
But really nice images and fitting our other tree images this month.   Posted: 05/11/2022 11:45:58

Pleasing image and reminds me of cold winter days in the Midwest. The building in the back right draws me in now that Sherry pointed it out. On my first look - didn't even notice it.
I would love to see this taken from a lower perspective as well - perhaps from 2 or 3 feet above the ground to add more of the immediate foreground?
Lovely shot - and spring is here now!   Posted: 05/11/2022 18:20:08

Lovely landscape... The old building and stairs on the left are beautiful. White branches stand out.
Worthy of a painting though I will remove the trees blocking the old house in the painting or add the grass... :)
The little blue color adds a little bit of minor distraction on a big screen. But it is definitely a part of the landscape.

I hope you don't mind Debbie, but I've had a little play with your image. You mentioned you like the trees, clouds and that great little staircase. I have taken out that little blue distraction, and also applied some NIK filters in PS. I have gone for "Detail Extractor" in Colour Effex to try and give it a bit more punch, particularly in the trees and grass. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it can be an option. Do you have any thoughts? I fully understand if you don't like it.   Posted: 05/20/2022 07:31:58
