About the Image(s)

This is another of my shots from Bodie called The Kitchen. It was taken in 2013 with a Nikon D800 and a Nikor 14-24 f2.8 lens. Settings were f8, 17mm,ISO 125 at 1/30 sec. This is a HDR shot that was comprised of 8 images to get all of the depth needed. There is so much to shoot at Bodie, and the history is very interesting.

Walt, Wow! Another amazing transformation with your post processing. The texture and vibrancy keep my attention as I look all around at the interesting objects in this kitchen.   Posted: 09/03/2021 09:26:39

Walt, you've got many impressive images from Brodie. The greens and wrinkled wallpaper work very well here with lots of interest across the image.

My only doubt is with the cooker on the left adds a somewhat distorted view. It may me stronger cropped excluding the cooker and window, with the left side finishing with the axes. Just a suggestion Walt.   Posted: 09/11/2021 15:12:37

Adrian, I think that the cooker and the window gives balance to the image and frame our vision towards the door in the back and being able to analyze every detail present.   Posted: 09/13/2021 09:53:56

Walt, this is another HDR masterpiece giving us all the details present at the site. The colors are well managed and it is tack sharp. You even were able to show detail from the outdoors.   Posted: 09/13/2021 09:52:08
