About the Image(s)
This image was taken at the JW Marriott Hotel. It was a huge power plant in Savanah that was converted into one of the most amazing hotels I have ever seen. If you are ever in Savanah this is definitely a must see. Photo ops everywhere!
Image was shot with a Nikon D850, Nikkor 28-300 lens, ISO-500, f/6.3, focal length was 45 mm and the shutter speed was 1/13 of a second hand held. Nothing done but a crop.

Great image! The fountain with lighting and the repeating arches in the background are particularly nice. You might try cropping some of the right side to emphasize those elements a bit more. Well done.   Posted: 05/08/2023 16:27:59
Hi Tom,
a very nice and sharp image. I like the fountain pattern of colors and the shutter speed you used helps to give a sense of the water motion. I also like the background color provided by the hotel structure. I agree with Ted that the right section of the image could be cropped to help the observer to focus on the other elements of the image.
Best wishes

I like the new crop. The only other thing I see that you may consider changing is the very bright white square near the left edge of the frame. (I found cloning it out worked better than dimming it down, but that may not be true for you.)

Theresa, it is amazing how you can look at an image and never see defects. I did fix the image above. Thanks Theresa.   Posted: 05/10/2023 08:12:46
I like the color tune and it shows a good party setting. Does it needs a bit vertical alignment and a bit crop on the top to focus on the water jets?   Posted: 05/13/2023 10:48:09
I'm late to the party but I agree with the comments. The crop off the right side definitely helped. You captured the colors beautifully.   Posted: 05/16/2023 09:09:33
