About the Image(s)

No one home

Captured this image in a little town north of Big Bend National Park in far West Texas. I was walking along the “streets” when I found this old house with a bench, tumbleweed and rickety screen door. I thought all the pieces fit together nicely.

I agree that it all fits together nicely. I really like the composition, the colors, and the simplicity. I love the patterns in the screen door and would be sorely tempted to create an abstract out of just that section.
This image makes me even more anxious to spend some time in Texas in a couple of months! Good job   Posted: 08/07/2022 23:10:08

Simple shot, well proportioned with a fitting title. Subtle colours and good well defined textures. Well seen.   Posted: 08/09/2022 05:02:22

Clean and simple. Like it. Just feel it needs more space at the bottom.   Posted: 08/09/2022 10:38:03

Great picture. I really like the composition and colors. However, it the textures which truly grabbed my attention. I don't think there is a single millimeter in the frame without a dramatic texture and you have caught the subtle differences in them all. The shadows of the chair and tumbleweed are also fascinating.   Posted: 08/09/2022 12:18:46

This is a great shot, as already mentioned, of composition, shadows, and texture. How about showing it to us in b/w also?   Posted: 08/23/2022 19:19:45
