Very curious, what are these shadows?   Posted: 09/05/2021 23:34:45

It's a tree-covered hill between where we were standing and the city.   Posted: 09/06/2021 08:56:17

The cityscape part of wonderful. You did a great job of focusing and getting the perfect exposure. I also like the soft blue tint of the sky and buildings. The drawback to me were the trees in the foreground. I realize you took the shot from where you were standing and couldn't ask the trees to move out of the way. I think this is an example where you have a one-half perfect image that is hampered by objects in your way that you can't control. Hopefully, you can find an unspoiled view of the skyline. You've got the technique to capture it down pat.   Posted: 09/06/2021 16:22:47

That should read: "The cityscape part is wonderful..." I need to do a better job of proofreading!   Posted: 09/07/2021 08:41:28

Seattle is full of trees. If you google Seattle skyline you'll see what I mean. I did create a version with fewer trees.   Posted: 09/10/2021 05:34:56

I like the composition and the overall color tune. The foreground hill adds the depth to the cityscape. I would try increase the clarity and contrast. Good for a big wall photo!   Posted: 09/08/2021 18:01:03

Good verticals, exposure and colour. The areas of the main buildings on the right versus the heavier amount of trees on the left offset each other well.   Posted: 09/23/2021 09:08:39

Very nice image. I like the shadowy foreground. It makes my eyes linger which I like. I also like the uneven edge of the shadow area, it is almost like a torn piece of paper was laid on top of it. I like the whole effect.   Posted: 09/27/2021 16:06:15
