Great composition! I especially like how you managed to keep everything in focus. It's not a big deal, but you might try slightly darkening that patch of sunshine on the grassy meadow in the center right of the image. It seems to throw off the balance of the image with the darker shadows on the left side. Also, a bright spot like this along the edge tends to pull the eye off the shot.   Posted: 07/06/2021 08:06:07

Thanks for the comments. Reduced highlight at both corners.   Posted: 07/07/2021 15:10:05

I think this image does a good job of capturing how you feel looking up at these giant trees and I like that they are clearly backlit. What's bothering me is that the yellow greens in the background and just in front of the central tree, to my eye, clash with the more blue green foreground. That may also just be one of my biases because, in general, yellow-greens are among my least favorite hues.

Hope it was a great trip!   Posted: 07/07/2021 01:28:22

Add more light to the tree and brushed the front green area to increase the blue. Here it is:   Posted: 07/07/2021 15:37:08

I love the sense of size and majesty that the image conveys.I think that the prior suggestions were right on track, and you did a great job implementing them. I think the adjusted image is much stronger after the changes.   Posted: 07/08/2021 10:58:10
