About the Image(s)

Image taken with Sony a7rII with 16-35 lens at 21mm 1/160 f/8 ISO 100 and edited in LR. My intent was to use the backlit leaves to frame a perfect summer scene in coastal Maine.

Very similar submission to the one of June 2021. I like this one better. Your window on the bay is more "open" and one can see better the horizon. Nice rhythmic waves giving a repetitive pattern. I would probably "dehaze" a little bit the horizon.
Nice view of this bay.   Posted: 12/03/2021 07:25:02

I think you did a very nice job in framing the tranquil scene. Per Pierre's comment, maybe the new sky tool in LR would allow you to bring up the horizon a little more? I would love to shoot this image!   Posted: 12/06/2021 11:30:59

Hi Judy, What is strong from this image (to me) is the composition. I agree when Mary used the word framing. Therefore, I would not brightened 'the frame' this much. I would rather make it half way from the original. Thanks for your willingness to coordinate this group 70.   Posted: 12/13/2021 21:04:50
