About the Image(s)
Canon EOS R6, EF 24-105 mm @ 105 mm. 1/125 sec @ f/4.0, ISO 500.
I shot this image in the morning of Sept 6, 2024. One day before Topan Yagi was literally reported killed 254 people in Vietnam . I shot behind dirty glass window of sky gondola in Sapa Vietnam.
Original 1 is the RAW (reject quality). Original 2 is after preliminary edit with Topaz AI. Final edit required intensive dodging and burning, level and curve adjustment with various luminosity masks. The end result is not yet a quality for printing. However, it shows tremendous power as well limitations of digital editing. Your comments would be much appreciated.

Hi Frans- It's amazing what you have been able to do to this photo with editing software. You've been able to bring out details and colors that I would hardly believed possible from the original image. My only suggestion might be to crop out some of the darker and less interesting portions and focus on the really interesting and colorful terraces. I tried this with the attached photo. This is a fascinating image which will probably have a wide appeal.   Posted: 10/07/2024 02:23:34
Hi Kirk. Your crop really help enhancing the whole scene of the image. Thanks for your comments and suggestions.   Posted: 10/09/2024 01:00:48
Hi Frans,
You did it again! The final result is really impressive, especially considering the poor quality of the original (through a dirty glass with light glares).
I find the end result appealing with all these plates of fields typical of that area that you nicely enhanced by adding light.
Congratulation.

Frans you always amaze me with you processing ability, how you take a crap picture and turn it into something close to brilliant. I like it very much and cannot think of any way I can improve it, well done   Posted: 10/17/2024 00:38:17
