I love the photo. There is a lot of detail in the shot. I think that the cropping was well done and really helps draw focus on the subject. I don't see a lot of room for improvement in the shot.   Posted: 05/15/2023 14:39:08
Hi Ken,
I find that cropping can be very difficult and also very personal.
Looking at these 2 animals, I felt that the panache of the left one should be preserve to accentuate the contrast between the 2 adversaries. Please find attached my cropping suggestion. I would have liked a bit more room on the top.   Posted: 05/17/2023 07:39:17

Great action and very sharp. I prefer Pierre's crop as it maintains the edge of the horn, which is quite majestic. But as Pierre says, this is a personal choice.
I would lighten the eye of the right Ibex - our eye is automatically drawn to the eye of the subject.   Posted: 05/18/2023 13:04:12

I have to agree with Pierre's crop and I might even try showing less of the ibex on the right since the one on the left is so amazing. I envy your opportunity to shoot these.   Posted: 05/25/2023 18:32:12
