Great composition, Pierre. I'm pleased that you chose to include the tree on the left to add additional interest.
What time of day was this taken? You have managed to catch light on all the wings and you have managed to show them at different stages of flight.   Posted: 05/12/2023 13:25:44

Thanks Mervyn,
I had the sun behind me. Timing: early afternoon.

Pierre,
Interesting sequence of birds showing the different wing positions while flying - a little study in the aerodynamics of bird flight.   Posted: 05/14/2023 12:50:10

This is a great shot. I think that there are a lot of interesting bits in the photo. For example seeing the two ducks (Second from the front) is really interesting. Also the colors are lovely. I do think that some of the ducks are lost to the sky (Specifically the blue heads) but I don't think there is much that could be done to change that. Overall I think the most impressive part it seeing the different positions the ducks are in. Great Photo.   Posted: 05/15/2023 14:34:11

I had multiple captures with various wing positions. I found this one more pleasing than the others. A high shutter speed helps, but then, one needs to be ruthless during the selection process!   Posted: 05/17/2023 07:04:02
