About the Image(s)

f/9, 1/640 sec, iso 400

Image of a cypress branch, past prime, floating in water. The image was cropped, spotted, vibrance, sharpened, contrast, vignette. A different water texture was added to improve the look of the water. Then the color was adjusted on the texture.

Nice catch. The water makes a nice and "muted" background. Very sharp. I think that I might have tried to open up the shadows a little bit, but great as it is.

I like the dark blue background against the golden foreground. I might crop in and rotate the image a bit so the ends of the branch line up with the diagonal corners of the frame.   Posted: 06/07/2022 19:49:30

A simple image which is shown off to perfection by the wonderful lighting. As usual you have processed this perfectly.   Posted: 06/08/2022 10:33:52

Once again a great pic Candy. I agree lighting and background are perfect. It is a pic I would not have thought about taking, simple but effective and well processed   Posted: 06/08/2022 22:00:47

What?! Your original looks like a throw-away. What a wonderful creation. The blue and gold make a great complimentary color contrast. To me, it seems abstract, as its difficult to see where/how its floating on water. Really peaceful and creative!!   Posted: 06/14/2022 19:20:24

This is a very interesting piece. I would have it thought of that as a capture. Your edits are amazing. The gold and blue complement each other very well.   Posted: 06/28/2022 19:37:25
