Squirrels are tough to shoot, so fast! Great catchlight in the eyes. I'd be tempted to give him just a tiny bit more room on the top and left. You might desaturate the grass a bit, or darken it. Maybe you could add a texture to add more interest and create a Candy Creation!   Posted: 11/05/2021 20:45:53

Thanks Brenda,
This was quite an active fellow!
Unfortunately, I am not a "creative" type.... but I love to see what Candy can do.

The squirrel is great - nice and sharp with a good catch light in the eye. he also stands out well from the background.
The out of focus grass in the lower foreground is distracting to me, and so I would suggest cropping it out. I would also crop the right side to include that leaf which he appears to be looking at.   Posted: 11/09/2021 15:16:46

Great little character and well captured. I like the low angle, the catchlight in the eye. Great having the background out of focus. Small comment, I may have darkend the foreground a little.   Posted: 11/09/2021 23:12:46

Good pose for the squirrel. It shows that something is probably going to happen-action. The background is nicely blurred, and the fur is nice and crisp.   Posted: 11/13/2021 13:23:14

Very sharp and excellent ground level perspective. We have lots of squirrels in Michigan (now mostly Black ones) but I rarely try to take pics of them. Usually, they are up in the trees.   Posted: 11/14/2021 15:38:45

The quality of the picture is very nice. The low angle really helps improve the photo. I don't think I would change a thing about the photo.   Posted: 11/29/2021 22:03:04
