Pierre, what an unusual bunny look! Like he smelled something bad ;-). The lighter grass gives you some nice separation and highlights his face. I'd be tempted to lighten his eyes more so we see a stronger catch light. You might consider a tighter crop to show him off a bit more. Unfortunately, that mowed grass will keep him out of PSA Nature. Fun capture, especially since it looks like you were almost at eye level!   Posted: 09/06/2021 18:58:35

Fun pic. I agree on the tighter crop. Might darken the background a bit too.   Posted: 09/06/2021 19:31:59

Great little character, what did you do to get his attention? I agree that darkening the background may let the bunny stand out a little more.   Posted: 09/07/2021 04:31:54

The rabbit is perfectly sharp and looking at us is very attentive and holds my gaze. I agree that the background should be darker.   Posted: 09/10/2021 12:41:27

Nice bunny, Pierre. Bringing out some texture in the fur would probably add to the image. I feel that a vignette would help as well as decreasing the saturation of the background grass. I also agree that darkening the background would be an improvement.   Posted: 09/12/2021 14:11:51

Thanks for these constructive comments. I did reduce tremendously the brightness of the background already but agree that it is still bright (harsh light of the early afternoon) but I agree with your comments.   Posted: 09/12/2021 14:26:49
