About the Image(s)

am so sorry this is late. It completely slipped my mind. Here are the photos.

For this month I tried a little bit of a heavier edit. I edited the photo by adding a vignette, feathering it a bit and then increasing the contrast a little. I also cropped the image. For taking the photo I used my iPhone 6s and took the photo early in the morning. When I took the photo I used a higher contrast for the raw image to try and remove any bright spots. I think I over saturated the image making the image more yellow and pink then the actual flower was.

Jacob, this is your best picture so far. The morning light together with your strong edits have made this flower stand out from the background.

Jacob,
Yes, I agree that the post processing, particularly the saturation and the heavy vignette, is a bit too much. I think the original background would be OK if it could be blurred a bit and darkened just a tad.   Posted: 06/08/2021 13:46:15

Jacob you have done well with your processing, I would probably cloned out some of the dark spots.   Posted: 06/19/2021 14:53:18

Nice image. Personally, from the initial image, I would have cropped a little on the left side but not on the other edges, and then, I would have blurred/darken the background to leave a little more room for your main subject. This is obviously subjective as anything artistic.
