Candy, he's gorgeous! It's a young one? Such a great expression! I'd love to hear about your choice of spot metering and if that's a good choice for white birds.
Fantastic shot, as always!   Posted: 06/05/2021 21:12:47

Thanks, it is a mature adult in breeding plumage. I always use spot metering. If used correctly, it prevents over exposing the whites. Best choice for white birds.   Posted: 06/06/2021 18:55:11

Cheeky little fella Candy, you must give me the name of the hair dresser, love the hair do. Lighting and background really work well.   Posted: 06/05/2021 21:56:59

The unusual pose makes this image a winner. You have cleaned up the background so that there are no distractions.   Posted: 06/08/2021 12:36:48

Candy,
One eyed portraits in people are usually not attractive but maybe with birds there is a bit more leeway?   Posted: 06/08/2021 13:41:55

This is a very nice shot and a great capture. I love how there is only one spot for color it really draws the attention of the viewer.   Posted: 06/25/2021 20:28:03
