About the Image(s)

My next post. I thought that I would show a little of Aust. This picture not taken at the best time of day but does show a rather unusual formation. It is of the Bungle Bungles in Western Australia. It is a landscape consisting of layers of sandstone and conglomerates formed in the red basin some 350million years ago. The orange band is due to oxidation of iron the black bands are a result of water seeping into the rocks aiding the formation of black algae.
38mm f8 1/250sec ISO 200.
Sorry about the description but I thought that you might want to know what you were looking at.
