About the Image(s)
I was thinking of entering this in a competition, but unfortunately the final image had most of its resolution cropped away. Do you know a way to increase resolution without losing clarity? Or to do a radical crop without losing as much resolution? The original file is 8.5 mb.

Looks pretty good to me. I'd try sharpening it in PhotoShop, but sometimes that just makes things worse. great macro image of the bee. Posted: 11/17/2023 13:55:18

A good macro image. The image has nice colors. Since only a small portion from the original image is used, it shows high noice and less sharpness. I tried the Topaz Sharpen AI, but still not sharp as expected. May be I am trying with an already compressed image. Your can try with the original image. Posted: 11/26/2023 00:57:36

You have done well in extracting that small portion of your original image, and it has good stereo. I do all my sharpening using high pass filter which by using a soft blending mode you can sharpen more but get less haloing. Posted: 11/28/2023 14:44:06
