About the Image(s)

When our PSA Wiscosnin Chapter visited La Crosse in western Wisconsin this spring for a photo outing, these trees were in full bloom. I liked the branching and the fact that the bark was very dark, almost black, which set the tree nicely against the blue sky.

This is excellent. I love the colors. The depth is simple but striking. The composition is classic minimalism, although a bit busy at the bottom edge. Well done!   Posted: 09/06/2023 11:00:53

Interesting shot. The image has nice depth, sharpness, lighting and colors. There is no window violation. Adding a center of attraction (like a bird flying in or one/two green leaves, etc) will make the image excellent.   Posted: 09/21/2023 10:00:21

Nice image, but could use a little more pop.   Posted: 09/23/2023 18:53:53

Lovely and it has impact through its simplicity. Many years ago we went to Japan in April to see the cherry blossom and that was wonderful.   Posted: 09/30/2023 14:40:21
