About the Image(s)
Each year there is an old steam tractor show here in Oregon. This was really a gasoline powered roller (not steam) that was running there. They showed all sorts of old power equipment, mostly steam, and it was a great day watching the old machinery pop, buff, blow smoke rings, plow, saw logs, drill wells, grade roads, and have the final pull off of the day to see which steam engine was the strongest.

Very nice! Good color and contrast despite the haze. Good depth across the image. It tells just enough of the story to leave me wanting more.
I've wanted to go to the steam-up for years, but the timing has never worked out. I love the old forged and cast machines. It's amazing that they were built so well they can still run today. Today's machines only run until the last firmware update.

Nice shot of the steam tractor. The image is sharp and has nice colors. I liked the composition. The image has nice depth too. I think, it is better to de-haze a little.   Posted: 09/23/2023 12:20:07
