This is at a village in the middle of France where during the war on the 10th June all of the village was marshalled in the village green and church and when the doctor arrived back from his rounds, they then shot everyone and burnt the village. General De Gaulle declared that the village should be retained in its destroyed stayed as a memorial. We visited the village during our recent trip to France

A great image that tells an important story. I wish there was more parallax. I can barely see any depth at all beyond the window offset. The shadow on the left is a bit distracting. It pulls my eye to the edge, only to point back at the subject. Posted: 09/01/2023 11:03:17

A good story telling image. The image is sharp and all details are visible clearly. The depth is not very effective. Even the electric pole appears to be standing on the top of the car body. The image needs a crop on left side to remove the dark shadow area, which is a distraction. Posted: 09/23/2023 12:36:58
I like the car and village, but I think it should be better cropped. The shadow on the left only distracts from the shot. I'd also bring the car much more negative parallax to contrast it with the village. Posted: 09/23/2023 19:03:13
