About the Image(s)

This was an old 1911 "PULL-SIEVE GRIP" farm tractor with a one-cylinder engine slowly crawling along the muddy dirt drive at the "Brooks Steam Up" of old steam and gas-powered farm equipment. In Photoshop, I tilted it up for a take-off, added some dragster power wheels, lots of smoke, flames shooting out of the exhaust and the appropriate assault drag track. Maybe I should have made the farmer leaning way back with both hands on the steering wheel to show the great acceleration.

Very interesting creative image. The power wheels, smoke, the road, flames and angle of the vehicle all looks so natural. The image is sharp and has nice depth. Well done. You can think about some motion blurr in the power wheels too!!!   Posted: 05/14/2023 14:39:05

To me the smoke seems to be at a slightly wrong angle, and the depth within the smoke element doesn't quite match the depth in the rest of the image. There should be a shadow from a presumed left wheel, but the sun shines where it should be. There is a bit of noise disparity where the shadow meets the road, causing a shimmering effect. The exhaust flames are perfect, as are the wheel and the lift angle. Overall, this is excellent.   Posted: 05/24/2023 13:25:53

What an absolutely fun image and what a creative mind you have. I would never think of doing this, but then I'm not sure how to do it so thanks for the explanation on what you did. This is a great image! I just wish there weren't all those people to distract from this fantastic tractor.   Posted: 05/24/2023 23:54:20
