About the Image(s)

Where we live my grandmother used to have hollyhocks and I have finally been able to get them to survive! View taken with my iPhone as a cha-cha and processed with SPM and IrfranView.

Beautiful image of Hollyhocks. Most of the flowers of Malvaceae family are good for close-up photographs. The image is sharp and has nice lighting. I am having some uncomfortable view on sides. Is it due alignment of the cha-cha images? There are window violations too. I did autoalign of the image and some easy adjustments in SPM. The resulting image is given below.   Posted: 05/11/2023 11:11:51

Yes the flower was 8" in front of my screen and the left side did brake the window. Mohanan's fix put it back into the window, but the main flower can come a bit out of the screen with no window problem. Flowers alwayse make good macro shots.   Posted: 05/11/2023 22:12:44

Nice interesting image, but some difficulties viewing it. I think I'd run it through an auto-adjust in StereoPhoto Maker.   Posted: 05/14/2023 16:00:43

A good stereo image but one that is very busy and that does reduce the impact when viewing.   Posted: 05/21/2023 16:53:28

There is in fact a window violation. But the main issues are vertical and horizontal disparities, combined with differences in the sensor plane. It's the trifecta of mismatched z,y, and z axes.   Posted: 05/24/2023 13:16:43

I'm glad the other members of our group could suggest the corrections. Hollyhocks are one of my favorite flowers so I enjoyed looking at your image. It is nicely exposed and has nice color saturation.   Posted: 05/24/2023 23:38:55
