About the Image(s)

We have been invaded this summer by linemen replacing a high power electric line that crosses the farm just south of us. I came upon this scene when coming home one sunny day and pulled out my Fuji and got a quick shot before the flagman became too impatient with me.

It seems the Fuji was fooled by the large sky, making the image very high contrast. Also, this highlights the limitations of the Fuji's lens base. I can't see much depth beyond the front of the bucket truck. If you had been closer to the flagman, it would have more natural depth.   Posted: 08/07/2022 11:01:11

Interesting image, but like Steve said, not much depth past the flagman. Interesting to think that those HV wires are eventually what gives us all the benefits of modern homes. All we have to do is turn on the stove - turn on the lights - enjoy a cool AC and only pay the electric bill.   Posted: 08/13/2022 12:26:08

A good image. There is no window violation. The overcast sky has taken away depth. A little more lens base would give more depth. You could have used the Fuji's 'Individual shutter 3D mode' option.   Posted: 08/17/2022 05:24:47
