About the Image(s)

This image was taken using my Samsung Galaxy A52s mobile. The nozzles for cake decoration was arranged on a paper and taken two images about an inch difference between the two shots.

The camera settings were ISO-25, f/1.8, Shutter speed 1/220 sec with flash of the mobile. The flash from the mobile gave the white circles arround the object.I intentionally did not make the background white to show the white circles created by the flash. The image was processed in SPM for auto align, levels and constrast. The final image was trimmed the present form.

Mohanan, Was the shot taken in color or mono? I view in parallel and I like the bottom pair, because the image comes right out towards me.   Posted: 11/02/2021 15:56:43

Taken in color, but there is no effect of color due to stainless steel and reflection.   Posted: 11/02/2021 16:43:55

Í do like this and how a very interesting image can be made from normal household items. Well done   Posted: 11/09/2021 16:45:03

Like Brian said, Interesting how household items can make good 3D. Another interesting thing I noticed as I viewed the cones is that the center of the cones seems to be above the tip of the cones. It might be because the shadow moved. Was the light moved as you took the two images. I like the image.   Posted: 11/09/2021 18:04:17

Excellent macro. Samsung phones are especially well suited to shots like this. In many cases the movement of the flash would create disparity. But here, the white background and fast shutter speed absorb much of the conflict.   Posted: 11/22/2021 22:47:23
