July 2021 - Blackbird Nest & Eggs

A few weeks ago this blackbird nest was in the yard after a section of one of our maple trees fell. I set the nest on a painted board and used my Fuji W3 and took several shots. I used my usual processing of SPM and IrfanView. The view was hurriedly prepared as I am heading off to scout summer camp with my grandson. Hopefully next month I will have view from camp.

I wonder if the nest was placed in a different branch of the tree would the birds come back. Sad to hear about the aviary tragedy. Interesting 3D image though, and I like the leaf in the nest. I can't wait to see scout summer camp. Posted: 07/09/2021 12:39:53
